Geocoding aid data to address donor duplication
A great blog from AidData explains how geocoding information on aid can illuminate where donor duplication is happening. With a geographical view of resource allocation, it is possible to increase donor harmonisation, which can in turn make activities increasingly cost-effective.
To illustrate its value, Alena Stern and Josh Powell, research assistants at AidData, map the activities of the World Bank and African Development Bank in Kenya and Mozambique.
