QuODA ranks countries’ aid effectiveness

AidInfo have launched their new website, a great resource for information on aid transparency.
The site is broken into sections according to AidInfo’s main areas of work; in policy, data and technology. In each section you can browse opinions, reports and news that relates to your interests. The site includes a library of all AidInfo reports and case studies to date, with a glossary of common terms and acronyms. There is also a calendar tracking national and international meetings where aid transparency may play a part.

In his Wednesday 22nd speech to the UN, President Obama announced a new U.S. Global Development Policy. The policy focuses on fostering economic growth and good governance, investment in innovation and research, placing emphasis on sustainable public sectors and the provision of basic services, and holding recipients of U.S. assistance accountable for achieving development results.
