Publish What You Fund has sent a letter alongside Access Info Europe, Open Society European Policy Institute,  and 50 international civil society organisations, which calls on Members of European Parliament (MEPs) to encourage EU institutions to sign up to the Open Government Partnership (OGP).

As a civil society collective, we believe the OGP presents a series of opportunities for improving transparency, governance and accountability in EU institutions. By engaging with the OGP process, as recommended by the  European Ombudsman, the EU has the opportunity to become a leading force for change and open up its institutions so that they are more accessible and responsive to European citizens.
