Congratulations to the Republic of Yemen, which has joined the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) Steering Committee this week. This brings the number of partner country members of IATI’s governing body to 23, more than a third of the total membership.

The IATI Secretariat said: “The partner country caucus in IATI provides a vital connection to the needs of data users and drives one of the principle motivations behind IATI – to improve the information that partner country governments can access about resources coming into their countries.”

We welcome Yemen to the initiative and look forward to working with them to make information about aid spending easier to find, use and compare.
