Belgium has become the latest donor to sign the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), taking the total number of signatories up to 35.

Belgium has shown leadership in the field of transparency, particularly in its support of the Busan common standard. Now by signing up to IATI, Belgium is demonstrating its continued commitment to the agenda.

Through use of the common format, IATI aims to make aid information more comprehensive, timely and comparable. Signatories to IATI currently account for 75% of Official Development Finance.
