Helen Clark, Administrator of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), has just stated UNDP’s commitment to making the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) a success.

In response to CSO-endorsed letters sent to the IATI signatories on 28th June and July, the letter echoes the sentiment of the recent USAID Strategy for meeting the MDGs, stating that "improving aid effectiveness, including through more predictable and transparent aid, is one of the requirements for achieving the Millennium Development Goals."
