Interns Role:

• Managing the website
• Building / maintaining contacts database
• Drafting media materials, particularly website content
• Researching and drafting briefing notes
• Researching and producing regular updates for e-groups on aid transparency
• Organising meetings and trips
• Supporting the Director’s work as required

Desirable

• Experience of managing websites, particularly Drupal, or other PHP-based systems
• Experience of database management, particularly MySQL
• Experience of developing and maintaining data and information systems
• Knowledge of desk top publishing/high quality document production

Work details

Interns must be available for at least three days a week and for a minimum of 8 weeks. Most internships last between two and three months. In unusual circumstances, we can make exceptions to this. The working day is 10am to 5pm although people often start earlier and finish later. Publish What You Fund is located within Tiri at their London Bridge office. Tiri is an independent non-governmental organisation that works with governments, business and civil society to find practical solutions to making integrity work. For more details see www.tiri.org

We will reimburse interns’ travel costs to and from work (within London) and provide £5 a day food allowance. We will also cover any other expenses incurred in the course of your work.

Training on website and database management will be provided.

Internships are not a prelude to employment. Interns are volunteers and do not need a work visa.
