Aid Transparency Standard Released
The International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI) Standard was finalised on the 9th February, and now the summary of what was agreed and technical details have been published. Please note the full standard will be made available here and on the IATI website during the week beginning the 21st February.
Technical Paper (Formats and Definitions)
The Standard is the product of over 2 years’ work by IATI, a group that includes some of the world’s largest donors such as the World Bank and the UK Department for International Development (DFID), 18 recipient governments and civil society organizations.
Now that the Standard has been defined and published, donors must use it so we can begin to see where aid money is going, and the impact it is having.
